A 2 1/4” tall glass blood letting cup (3 part mold), circa. 1780-1820, and a 3” fleam, & horn handled lancet bleeder (c182).  The fleam was used in the common practice of bleeding patients by cutting a vein, and placing the warmed glass blood letting cup over the cut to draw the blood out (vacuum suction).  Rev.
